There is nothing wrong with the liberty. I own a 94 wrangler 4.0 liter, had a 96 Grand Cherokee, and my wife owned a 86 cherokee. They all are or were great Jeeps in my opinion. And the Liberty sets a new standard in Jeeps. What is wrong with making better technology, a better ride or even more horsepower. My opinion nothing. Yes I do like solid axles and the ever so dependable 4.0 liter engine. But it is time to experiment with something a little different. Try driving a Liberty, compared to anything in it's class it dominates. And remember it still off roads, just as good, as any standard grocery getting cherokee would. Also I do admit do most (SUV) drivers ever off road. I know I can say I do, with my Jeep and my ATV's. But also lets remember in order to survive in a market you must appeal to the majority, and keep loyal fans happy to. And I think they did that with the Jeep Liberty.
